The LabAmp model 5167Ax1 features advanced signal processing technology with excellent flexibility. The frequencies for high-pass, low-pass, and notch filters can be directly input as numerical values in Hertz. Input signals can be flexibly converted to analog output. The graphical user interface (GUI) not only provides an easy and intuitive way to configure the device but also displays different measurements (for example, live values, minimum/maximum values, root mean square). The virtual channel function can sum different input signals in real-time. In the case of the Kistler multi-component dynamometer, it can calculate not only the torque vector obtained from three components but also the force.

A general-purpose data acquisition system for controlling interfaces and charge amplifiers!

The cutting power measurement DAQ system consists of a data acquisition box and DynoWare software. The data acquisition box can connect to two multi-channel charge amplifiers. A 16-bit A/D converter digitizes the analog output data. The system connects to a PC via a USB 2.0 port, and the control of the charge amplifier or signal conditioner is managed by the data acquisition box through an RS232C cable. Users can easily operate a high-sampling-rate data acquisition system.

The 4-component rotary dynamometer consists of a rotor, stator, connection cables, and signal conditioner. The type of rotor is determined by the required spindle type on the machine side. A piezoelectric 4-component sensor and a 4-channel charge amplifier are integrated into the rotor to measure radial forces Fx and Fy, axial force Fz, and torque Mz. The voltage output from the charge amplifier is digitized and transmitted to the stator. The range selection and power supply for the charge amplifier are transmitted non-contact from the stator to the rotor. There is a gap of a few millimeters between the stator and the machine tool. The signal conditioner controls the measurement system. Additionally, the measurement range can be selected from three options, and measurements can be initiated manually or via a serial interface. The output signal is an analog voltage of ±10V. Data can be recorded using Kistler's DynoWare or compatible data acquisition software.

These sensors are grounded and insulated, eliminating ground loop issues. The dynamometer has been treated for rust prevention. Additionally, it achieves protection class IP67 when connected with cable types 1687B5 and 1677A5.
