ForteBio On-Demand Webinar "Online Seminar on Promoting Research and Development for Treatments and Vaccine Development for COVID-19 Using Octet"
The World Health Organization (WHO) recognized on March 11, 2020, that the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection had reached a pandemic level. Currently, there is a demand for the acceleration of research on treatments and vaccine development for this infection. To expedite the development of therapeutics and vaccines, advanced analytical techniques are crucial for rapid screening of many candidates and for determining the most promising candidates. The Octet system enables real-time assays of biomolecular interactions using BLI technology and allows for high-throughput screening and evaluation of candidates through simultaneous measurement of multiple samples. As a result, data from the Octet system has been featured in many papers that bring breakthroughs related to the biological research of COVID-19 and vaccine and therapeutic development. ■ Ended (2020/10/20) 【Update Information】 If you wish to view the webinar, please fill in your customer information from the "Details & Application" link below. ForteBio On-Demand Webinar: "Efficient Antibody Screening Assays Using the Octet System for Antibody Drug and Diagnostic Development Online Basic Seminar"
One of the most important steps in the antibody development workflow is how to efficiently screen excellent antibodies from a large number of antibodies produced using immunological methods and phage display methods. The conventional ELISA method, which analyzes based on affinity, cannot distinguish between clones that express low-affinity antibodies at high levels and clones that express high-affinity antibodies at low levels; therefore, methods that analyze based on kinetic information become effective. The Octet system enables the identification of clones that produce high-affinity antibodies, which is considered difficult with the ELISA method. Obtaining kinetic information at an earlier stage in the development of antibody drugs and diagnostic agents can lead to the simplification of subsequent processes and accelerate the entire development flow. ■ Completed (2020/11/17) 【Update Information】 If you wish to view the webinar, please fill out your customer information from the "Details & Application" link below. After completing your application, an On-Demand viewing link will be displayed on the screen. The webinar presentation slides can be downloaded from the related catalog below.

ForteBio On-Demand Webinar "Online Seminar on Epitope Binning Assays Using the Octet System for the Development of Antibody Drugs and Diagnostic Drugs"
The characterization analysis of the epitope regions of target proteins can determine whether multiple clones share the same epitope or recognize different regions of the target protein, providing detailed information for antibody development. Epitope binning, which classifies antibodies based on the antigen regions or epitopes they bind to, is an effective assay for the development of antibody drugs and diagnostic agents. The Octet system enables high-throughput epitope binning assays through real-time assays of biomolecular interactions and simultaneous measurements across multiple channels, accelerating antibody development. In this seminar, we will provide an overview and explanation of the usefulness of epitope binning assays, as well as examples of applications using the Octet system. ■ This has concluded (2020/9/29) 【Update Information】 If you wish to view the webinar, please fill in your customer information from the "Details & Registration" link below. After completing your registration, an On-Demand viewing link will be displayed on the screen. The webinar presentation slides can be downloaded from the related catalog below.
