[TAIYO] Announcement regarding the development of sales channels for FPC in the U.S. medical device market.
We are pleased to announce that we have developed sales channels for flexible printed circuit boards (FPC) in the U.S. medical device market within our core business of electronic substrates. Traditionally, FPC has been primarily used in smartphones, digital cameras, and automotive equipment; however, in recent years, we have focused on product development for medical devices, which is one of the growing markets due to changes in the market environment. As a result, the proportion of FPC sales to medical device manufacturers within our group reached 12.9% in fiscal year 2021 and 15.7% as of the third quarter of fiscal year 2022, with a trend of increasing orders.
