The metal decoration system is based on the metal primer jet technology developed by Takubo and the product business partnership with Toshiba Machine Engineering. It offers a metal film formation function intended for automotive emblems and proposes low VOC, high value-added products using inkjet technology. This was demonstrated and exhibited at the Toshiba Machine Co., Ltd. Solution Fair 2018. The inkjet decoration device applies color decoration to molded products (material PC), and a high-speed sputtering device forms functional metal films. Additionally, an inkjet primer and clear coating application device applies primer to firmly adhere the material, enhancing wear resistance and gloss through clear coating. High-Precision Decoration By adopting high-precision linear rails, the algorithm for the moving work and the ink impact is calculated with high accuracy, allowing for precise ink application. It draws at a pixel level, accurately and faithfully reproducing the installed design. Wide Production Range Possible from Small Batches Production can be done from a single workpiece. Inkjet Inline Decoration System Jet Line
Achieving a consistent production line from molding to decoration, UV hard coating, and assembly.

What is needed for operation is only image data and a dedicated coating agent, which allows for the precise spraying of droplets at any location on a moving flat workpiece based on images created on a PC, enabling UV coating. Since the droplet application is done accurately along the flexible images, there is no waste, and it allows for reduced masking. Additionally, because there is minimal splatter, large local exhaust systems are not necessary. Being a modular type, it can be used as a standalone unit or integrated into a production line.
