We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of "VideoStep" at Showa Glove Co., Ltd.'s Manufacturing Headquarters, Production Technology Department. At each manufacturing site, the formats and methods for creating work standard documents varied, resulting in a mix of Excel and paper media. Even for the same work content across sites, manuals were not shared, leading to a lack of opportunities to learn appropriate methods from each other. After the implementation, a system was established that allows even beginner staff to easily share work know-how through videos, and the automatic translation feature supporting multiple languages has facilitated information sharing beyond language barriers.
