Takaya Corporation (Headquarters: Ibara-cho, Ibara City, Okayama Prefecture; President: Ryuji Okamoto) has received the 20th "JPCA Award" for its "Hybrid Inspection System Combining JTAG Testing and Flying Probe Testing." The awarded "Hybrid Inspection System Combining JTAG Testing and Flying Probe Testing" integrates the flying probe tester with JTAG boundary scan testing, allowing for the mutual complementarity of each inspection method to maximize test coverage for high-density mounted boards and enable more accurate fault diagnosis. A panel introducing the award will be displayed at the "JPCA Show 2024 (Total Solution Exhibition for Electronic Devices 2024)" held at Tokyo Big Sight from June 12 (Wednesday) to June 14 (Friday). ■JPCA Award The JPCA Award is an award aimed at exhibitors of the "JPCA Show 2024 (Total Solutions Exhibition for Electronic Devices)" organized and managed by the Japan Electronics Packaging and Circuits Association (JPCA). The award evaluates the originality (uniqueness, originality), potential for development and future prospects in the industry, reliability, and relevance to current trends of the submitted presentations. A selection committee composed of experts from academia, the electronic circuit industry, and editors of specialized publications conducts a rigorous review process. This award system has been implemented since 2005 to recognize outstanding products and technologies that contribute to the advancement of electronic circuit technology and industry. In 2024, eight entries were selected for the "20th JPCA Award." ◇Reason for Our Company’s Award (Excerpt from Comments) It is expected that combining JTAG and flying probe testing for electrical inspection after BGA mounting, which is a bottom electrode, will contribute to the industry by providing efficient inspection.
