Piezo-based objective focus drive series
Piezo stage optimal for 2-photon (3-photon) fluorescence microscopy, digital slide scanning, and wafer inspection. Travel range from ≤18μm to 7mm.
The vertical axis of lever amplification using piezo has been proven as a standard solution to this challenge for about 20 years. PI's compact objective positioner portfolio has been completely redesigned. We aimed for higher dynamic characteristics, a travel range of up to 800 microns, and improved ease of use. As a result, we now offer a more powerful product line that can provide optimal solutions for almost all applications. *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.

Applications/Examples of results
Two-photon (three-photon) fluorescence microscopy In two-photon or three-photon fluorescence microscopy, two photons excite visible fluorescence in the deep tissue in the infrared range. By utilizing infrared light, it is possible to reach deeper areas, necessitating a larger movement range for the focused drive. For example, cellular organelles and metabolic processes can be investigated, allowing the user to generate an image stack along the Z-axis.
