How to send a sample
I have summarized how to send samples for analysis to MST.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. ◆ Other Notes - Please provide instructions so that the measurement surface is clear. - Please be careful not to touch the sample surface (measurement surface). - If the sample is at risk of deterioration due to exposure to the atmosphere, please consult us separately. - For fragile samples, please ship them in a cardboard box with cushioning material.
basic information
◆Wafer - Elemental analysis Please send it in a sheet case, FOSB, chip case, etc. - Organic contamination assessment If possible, please prepare two identical samples, align the measurement surfaces, and wrap them double with the matte side of aluminum foil. ◆Microchip samples For microchip samples that require careful handling with tweezers, please send them in a transparent ziplock bag that allows for external confirmation of the sample. Wrapping paper may bounce off. Chip cases may be difficult to retrieve due to static electricity. For organic contamination assessment, please inquire separately. ◆Powder samples Please send them in small bottles, wrapping paper, ziplock bags, etc. ◆Liquid samples Please fill the sample in a screw-cap container. For trace component analysis, container lending is also available. ◆Biological samples Wrap in aluminum foil, place in a ziplock bag, and send via frozen shipping with cushioning material and dry ice (or ice packs if dry ice is not available) in a Styrofoam box. If humidity control is necessary, attach the sample to a slide glass, place the slide glass and a desiccant in a conical tube, and send it.
