Insulation breakdown test
Dielectric Breakdown Test
- The dielectric strength of the test sample is evaluated by applying high voltage to the test sample and measuring the voltage at which insulation breakdown occurs. - Testing in various temperature and humidity environments (such as 85°C/85%RH, 150°C, 175°C, etc.) is also possible. - It is also possible to measure the time until insulation breakdown occurs. By measuring the time to insulation breakdown at multiple voltages, a lifespan (V-t) curve can be drawn. - Testing in oil is also supported.
